Androgenetic Alopecia

I have been slowly going bald since I was 16. I’m 34 now and I cant hide it as well. Will probably get a wig, because its come to that point. I cant imagine what it will look like in ten years :(

Hi Jonanne–what about taking Spironolactone—I’ve been reading about that on the web. Have you? tried that yet? If so, how long have you been on it and what have been your results.
have u tried onion or garlic juice? they r amazing for hairloss and regrowing hair
first apply olive oil for 8 days use it 8 nights on a row apply it all over your scalp and go to bed then wash it out in the morning this will clean ur scalp of all the bad stuff
then start with the onion treatment(google it) also doing scalp massages are very good
and u should probably get a book called Hair again by John kelby it will give u alot of NATURAL? techniques on how to regrow your hair hope thishelps
hi joanne. thanks for putting the video up. i know what you? mean im 20 & i just found out from my dermatologist today that i have androgenic alopecia. i guess its been happening for maybe 2 or 3 years & there was a decline in my hair when i was a teen. i used to have lovely thick healthy hair as a kid. im going to try minoxidil so i hope it works for me!! i hate the way friends/family say its not bad its fine. but for me its the worst thing possible :( i never realised how much i love my hair
@Aussierod68 I hate to bother you on the youtube. please don’t get too upset at me DX I was just wondering, What’s the prognosis of using spironolactone and rogaine? Will hair loss eventually stop or is progression of Androgenic alopecia inevitable? Im only 17 and i have it pretty bad. Guess i just have a strong genetic disposition to it because my fathers? aunts hair is pretty bad, so i was just wondering what the future will look for me.
im 19 and im not sure if i have this? or not my aunts from my fathers side have been suffering from hairloss my brother has thin hair in the front and now im really worried about my hair too cuz its getting kind of thin im gonna go to a doctor as soon as i can and i’ve been researching some treatments just in case i do have it and i think the ones that i’ve been hearing most about are provillus and hairmax laser comb and leaser therapy and the permanent solution which is hair transplant
I have androgenetic alopecia too…im 23 and ive just been using the nioxin shampoo and conditioner and its helped a little, my dr. recommended rogaine but its too expensive….i wish you luck girl….im hoping to find a good product too till then my hair isnt too severe yet but eventually ill probly just shave it and get some awesome wigs? and rock them like lady gaga does <3
Hey….
I am a 21 year old girl from Germany and do suffer from androgenetic alopecia since 3 years….
I Being afraid of? what will happen to my hair in the next years, I decided to read up on hairpieces….
The company “Hairdreams” does lovely hairpieces, that are permanently integrated to your own hair….. please take a look at it…. maybe it will help you…. such as it did to me
love, Lisa
(please excuse my bad english)
@mecharli it not bad , you? are not alone , >:D<
Hi I specialise In hair loss treatments in women. I recommend you go to your doctor and get a prescription for spironolactone. It will help to reduce the testosterone in your blood stream. In most case this will stem and stop the hair? loss.
Hey Joanne,? I know I just commented on another one of your videos, but I really just love that you’ve put your story out there. You are definitely not alone and I admire you so much for being real about this. I don’t want to bring in any false hopes, but since minoxidil really didn’t work for you, have you heard of a hairmax comb, or laser hair therapy? It’s pricey, but I would look into it! I’m waiting to get out of grad school to get a job before I try it myself.
I’m 19 years old, and I found out that I have Androgenetic Alopecia this year. It breaks my heart that I have to deal with baldness, when I see all of my friends with thick, healthy hair. It’s hard when my friends and family tell me that it’s not that bad, when it’s all I can think about sometimes. Thank you? for making this video. It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one going through this.
jesus christ
I just started minoxidil the other day. I hate hearing about people who had weird side? effects.
PS you’re hair isn’t too bad. It could be so much worse.
